Seeing And Planning Success By Anticipation

The essence of strategy is to know what will happen next. The strange basis of our life is that we don't. You don't know what is going to happen next, and in most instances, that is how we like it, it gives life a flavor of new. If we knew ahead of time what everything was going to be like, how bored would we get, how quickly would that happen, how unhappy would we be? Can you anticipate what those consequential reactions to something will be? Not really, you can believe that things are going to work out a certain way but life constantly throws you different circumstances to deal with, so, the very best planners and strategists know that you have to anticipate and plan as if though things aren't going to work out and then become a real master at trying to figure out how they might not go the way you think. Is this sound business management, you bet it is, is it sound business planning, you bet it is, is it the best you can do given the modern way that business must be done, yes, however, you must make one or two adaptations to the modern age.
