Well...So Now What?

Wow - sometimes things don't go like you think they will. Take for example a very simple request, take all of, oh I don't know, ten seconds to take care of, would prevent a lot of hassle to you personally. So they say, "nah, can't do it, sorry..." We're talkin' very easy to do texting on a cell phone that they do many, many times a day- but when you ask for just one specific notice, nope, it ain' gonna happen. Now the question comes in, do you assign any weight to that action, in terms of evaluating what you mean to that person? Well gosh, wouldn't you have to wonder if they cared much at all about your concerns? So it is with things that sometimes don't go the way you think that they are going to. The question is, what do you do when that happens?

Then You Have To Decide

One of the great sales leaders, and a great Christian man as well, Zig Ziglar, emphasizes how important relationships are. One of the most brilliant responses that I've seen lately on relationships is, don't let someone become a necessity to you when you're just an option to them. Thought that was good advice, what about you?

Question Is What To Do?

Shortly after creation, the evil one thought he'd really done something spectacular - here he had boxed them in, and he had them believing that God wasn't on their side. God got that straightened out, and so, the evil one decided he
needed another shot at it, God being supremely confident as He has the right to be, told the evil one to give it his best shot. So the evil one began to think on it. Centuries past, and centuries are a long time, finally he came up with it - he said to God - "I ruined beauty with Eve - so there is no more beauty in women on earth." To which

Weird cars, sometimes we see them, and we do that double take, "did I really see what I think I just saw?" Showin' my age here, the first Batman(c)*, when Adam West was the star, on T.V., there was the Batmobile- man we thought that car was cool beyond cool- and folks would see it in Hollywood and just get nuts about waving at it and the like. One time at a meeting at a resort there was a very wealthy and powerful man who had a car that had a Rolls Royce back end and a Cadillac front end, the car was absolutely strange but beautiful, on the license plate it read:

Which he explained was his theory of management, that if someone didn't want to do it, didn't want to do it correctly, or just didn't want to follow the leader, then look beyond that situation by asking "next?" So the question he said that keeps you moving in everything from business, to life, is, next- so in your life, whats next? In your success, what's next? In your love life, what's next? Stale job, what's next? Stale money maker, what's next? Stock sucks, what's next? Real estate won't sell today, what's next? WHAT IS NEXT is what gets you to SUCCESS!

Yes - WAY different than - NO

Michael Korda wrote about power, in his writings he talked about how powerful the term "NO" is. While reading that, so many years ago, to this day my memory feels the outright awe of how much that statement made me contemplate the power of "YES" which was Korda's ultimate goal in teaching.

Perhaps you've not thought of yourself as a communicating dynamo? Maybe you have overlooked the obvious, and it's obvious power? In your lifetime, if you get in on the electronic revolution; you will communicate to more people than anyone ever believed possible. In your lifetime, if you get in on it, you will become a T.V. type personality, from the relative location of your choosing...check this one out:

Alot to offer

Sometimes we want to spend a lot of time thinking things over. For example, people will ask me to tell them about me, but really, what can you say, I've gone to school for sixteen years of getting into books? Only to see the fictionalized plot imagined out in a movie, "Knowing" Which, while it has a lot to offer, offers hope in a varied form. Hope in my opinion is what separates us as people, and it seems to me that perhaps hope is a lot to offer?
Thousands of books, five books a week for over 27 years? Hmm...would that be right, let's see, 5X52X27= 7020; yup, that's thousands of books, and the funny part is, only two of the five per week were for entertainment, like Robert B. Parker's Spenser series, those I love to read. The other three per week were educational or schoolastic in nature, such as statistics, algebra, how to market, how to write, law, business law (McMillan's 6th Ed. on Bus Law let me contribute); and others, were all designed to help me learn to write really fine reports. Throughout three degrees beyond high school, all my efforts have been toward learning to help to communicate to others those things that really matter. So my sense is that sometimes we find varied sources that really have a lot to offer, and maybe, just maybe, we should take advantage of that? Lately I've been wondering about that...so, while you please comment on this one, consider this:
